Our goal is not only to help you rent a car, but to help you discover the most beautiful places in Spain and make your trip easier, more enjoyable and completely hassle-free.

We help travellers choose the right rental option, plan their journey and discover places worth visiting along the way.

Car rental is only part of what we offer.

We share our local knowledge and help you plan your trip, recommend places to visit and make the most of your time in Spain.

With every confirmed car rental, you also receive our original Costa del Cars Mini Travel Guide with our recommended places, routes and travel tips.

Costa del Cars acts as an independent travel and car rental agency.

We work with trusted local rental partners and help our customers find and arrange a suitable car rental.

The vehicle itself is provided by the local rental company, while Costa del Cars remains your point of contact for the booking and travel assistance.

We guarantee that the rental conditions presented to you at the time of booking will be the conditions agreed for your rental.

We only work with rental partners that meet our requirements regarding insurance, pricing and rental conditions.

Our goal is simple: what we promise, you receive.

To make a booking, the customer must provide accurate information including rental dates, pickup and return locations and driver details.

A booking is confirmed once Costa del Cars has confirmed the vehicle and rental conditions with the customer.

Vehicle availability is subject to confirmation by our rental partners.

If the selected vehicle becomes unavailable, we will do our best to provide a similar or upgraded vehicle under the agreed conditions.

The rental price confirmed by Costa del Cars is the final rental price for the agreed rental conditions.

There are no hidden rental charges added after booking.

Any service, extra or charge that is not included in the agreed rental price will be clearly communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.

A small booking and agency service fee is paid in advance directly to Costa del Cars to secure the reservation.

This fee is non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.

The remaining rental amount is paid directly to the local rental partner at the time of vehicle pickup, by card or cash, according to the confirmed rental conditions.

We only work with rental partners offering full insurance for the vehicles we provide.

Full insurance applies when the vehicle is used correctly and in accordance with the rental company's terms and conditions.

When the vehicle is used according to its intended purpose and the rental conditions are respected, the customer will not be charged for covered damage and no security deposit is required.

Our rental offers are provided without a security deposit or a blocked amount on the customer's card.

However, in Spain, the rental company may require the customer to have a valid credit or debit card in their own name as a form of identification or security.

No deposit or pre-authorisation will be taken unless this is clearly stated in the agreed rental conditions.

The driver must meet the minimum age and driving experience requirements of the selected rental company.

These requirements may vary depending on the vehicle and rental partner.

At vehicle pickup, the customer must always have: • A valid driving licence • A valid passport or identity document • A valid credit or debit card in the driver's name, where required by the rental partner

Additional documents may be required depending on the rental conditions.

Additional drivers, child seats and other extras are available according to the selected rental offer.

Any applicable costs or conditions will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

The exact pickup and return procedure will be provided to the customer before the rental.

Depending on the rental partner, the vehicle may be collected at Málaga Airport, near the airport or at another agreed location.

All pickup and return instructions will be provided before the rental.

Pickup or return outside the rental company's standard operating hours may be subject to an additional charge.

Any applicable fee will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

The Costa del Cars booking and agency fee is non-refundable once the reservation has been confirmed.

After confirmation, any changes, cancellations or requests relating to the vehicle rental are handled according to the rental partner's conditions.

The customer receives the rental company's contact details and booking information and can contact the partner directly when necessary.

Costa del Cars will assist the customer whenever possible.

The customer is responsible for using the vehicle correctly and in accordance with the rental company's terms and conditions.

Any damage caused by misuse, negligence, prohibited use of the vehicle or violation of the rental conditions may not be covered by the insurance.

We don't just help you book a car.

Costa del Cars is here to help you throughout your trip with rental-related questions, local recommendations and travel planning.

Our aim is to make renting a car and discovering Spain simple, transparent and stress-free.

Costa del Cars does not accept last-minute bookings or rental requests made for very short periods before the planned pickup date.

To ensure that we can properly arrange the vehicle, confirm the rental conditions and provide our travel support, bookings must be made sufficiently in advance. We reserve the right to decline any booking request that does not allow enough time for proper preparation.
